On Tuesday the 10th of February 2009 over a hundred brethren attended a very special occasion at Scorton Mark installation. Not only did they see an extremely good ceremony, very well performed by the Installing Master (W. Bro B G Farrar), they were also privileged to have 37 of the 45 acting Provincial team and twenty Grand Officers in attendance as well!
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Peter Connolly, assisted by his Deputy Provincial Grand Master Very Worshipful Anthony Harrison and the rest of the team made the evening a truly spectacular night and a most memorable one for all of us there, especially for the incoming Master Bro. Mark Astbury. The whole installing team played their roles to perfection and were a credit to Scorton mark and it's DC.
Not only was the ceremony second to none, but the fellowship and fare at the festive board was also first rate. The whole evening is one that will linger long in the memory for all the right reasons.
